I started fabricating a Beach Head figure based on the following file card:
Essentially, I 'm motivated to make a figure that looks true to it's filecard artwork. When Hasbro decided to rework the whole Joe line back in like '01 or '02, they were just awful looking, except I rather enjoyed the artwork that accompanied them. The Beach Head figure that came with this card looked nothing like what you see here. He was scrawny, pigeon-toed and hands down, one of the worst renditions of this famous Joe.
So after years of procrastinating, even after I erected this blog, I've just now decided to dive into my imagination and make the Beach Head that you see here. This guy looks like a tank; head to toe and my goal is to be as true to the artist's likeness as possible. So, thank you for stopping by and I hope you follow along as I start my first custom.
